Osteopathy is a hands-on, holistic approach that focuses on aligning the bones, releasing fascial restrictions, and improving the function of internal organs. The body’s systems—musculoskeletal, nervous, lymphatic, and visceral (organ health)—are all interconnected. By restoring balance and mobility, osteopathic treatments help to reduce pain, enhance function, and promote the body’s natural healing abilities.

What Osteopathy Can Address:

✔ Bone Alignment & Structural Balance – Ensuring proper positioning of bones for better posture, mobility, and reduced strain on muscles and joints.
✔ Advanced Fascial Release – Removing deep fascial restrictions that contribute to pain, tension, and movement limitations.
✔ Visceral Manipulation – Addressing organ tightness that can restrict movement and cause compensatory patterns in the bones, fascia, muscles, and nervous system.
✔ Craniosacral Therapy – Working on spinal alignment, cranial bone spacing, jaw function (TMJ issues), and nervous system regulation to restore equilibrium.
✔ Lymphatic System Work – Reducing inflammation, detoxifying organs, and supporting overall immune function while decreasing pain and swelling.

Osteopathy is not just about pain relief—it’s about restoring optimal function, mobility, and balance within the body. Whether you’re dealing with chronic pain, postural imbalances, digestive issues, or nervous system dysfunction, this comprehensive approach can help you move and feel better.

Massage therapy is a clinically-informed approach to treating soft tissue—muscles, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissue—to alleviate pain, reduce tension, and promote healing. Grounded in anatomy and physiology, massage therapy applies targeted pressure and movement techniques that impact the body’s neuromuscular and circulatory systems.

Key Benefits of Massage Therapy:

Reduces Muscle Tension: Research shows that massage can decrease muscle tightness and soreness by reducing muscle fiber adhesions and improving tissue elasticity.

Increases Circulation: Massage stimulates blood flow, delivering oxygen and nutrients to tissues and helping clear metabolic waste, which supports healing and tissue repair.

Supports the Nervous System: By engaging the parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) nervous system, massage can lower stress hormones like cortisol, promote relaxation, and improve overall well-being.

Improves Range of Motion: Techniques like stretching and myofascial release reduce joint stiffness and improve flexibility by addressing tightness in muscles and connective tissue.

Studies have shown that regular massage therapy can help manage conditions such as chronic pain, tension headaches, and anxiety. By applying evidence-based techniques, massage therapists support the body's natural processes, enhancing physical and mental health.

My name is Chasity Berube I graduated from The National Manual Osteopathic College in 2019 with honors. I am a member of the National Manual Osteopathic Society. Prior to this I graduated from Alberta College of Massage Therapy in 2018 honors with distinction. Before my path in the wellness field I was a health care aide for 16 years. It was a great pleasure and honor to help people but I felt the system was failing in specific areas. I began to reach out into natural healing methods and now I have come to develop my business called Internal Wellness. I feel health starts within and is a whole body multi system process.

When welcomed into my home based business, I will show you around the business level and I will begin my assessment. Things I will be looking at are how you walk, how your bones and muscles act at rest as well as while seated. I will ask each time you visit to update me with any changes you have such as medications, lifestyle, symptoms and pain etc.

My approach as a Manual Osteopath is to look deeper at your problems and issues and to seek the main source and cause of your symptoms. I believe the body is far more complex than just dealing with muscles, bones, joints and physical activity. Your first treatment will consist of checking bones, muscle tension and feeling your central nervous system as well as getting a general sense of who you are and how I can help you to feel better. I will give stretches and/or exercises if I feel they will help you at the time. If you have a problem or a condition that needs to be treated generally, I will ask that you return in a week so that we can demolish your symptoms and then clear out the specific area that has caused the symptoms.
